Welcome to 61 5th Avenue! This home was in the same family for almost 60 years! When it came time to sell, it was clear that there was some deferred maintenance, but the home still had beautiful bones. Working with the sellers, we got to work on presenting this home in its best light. We had the carpet removed, the beautiful hardwood floors refinished, old wallpaper stripped and the house painted. The stagers chose new light fixtures, new appliances, new kitchen counters,and created a warm, inviting atmosphere to showcase the house. The outside was important as well, we removed the deteriorated flower boxes and let the beautiful windows be showcased and we cleaned up the back yard. We also oversaw a new roof and new sewer line–not “sexy” like the rest but necessary for a new buyer to be able to secure homeowner’s insurance.
